Refuting the NYT/WSJ article by calling them BS even before the arguments are presented tells the BS going around in all media. Mainstream media has trust deficit. No one will cry if social media is regulated given the drivel that is elevated to one's TL. Hope both see the light.

Role "trust" plays in a society is best exemplified during a pandemic. Very nice summary of the same from Denmark. Comparison with a fellow Scandinavian country, Sweden, underlines how trust varies with situations. Wonderful read.

So the herd immunity theory is practically disproven. The collateral cost should have been the biggest reason to not get into it. Almost like those 7000+ died from a failed experiment into which they were forcefully pushed.
