I think tech execs are asking the wrong question. They are asking how will we survive a recession when they should be asking - how do we accelerate demand efforts to out pace a market contraction. It’s a self fulfilling prophecy when you cut marketing spend.

Hire people that have done around 70% of the job before. That 30% of uncharted territory (growth) is why top talent will decide to accept your offer.
