I stay at major hotels regularly, and this was easily one of the worst service experiences I’ve had at a property positioned as five-star. Curious if this is becoming normal at ARIA or if I just had an exceptionally bad stay. @VitalVegas @vegasstarfish @reviewjournal

The flooding was the worst part, but it matched the rest of the stay. Huge waits. Long hold times just trying to reach anyone. Room service delivered in paper bags with plastic containers and utensils despite luxury-hotel pricing. The overall service just felt indifferent.
Pretty shocking stay at ARIA Las Vegas. I reported strange mechanical/water noises in my room shortly after check-in. Instead of sending someone up, I was asked to walk around the room and help diagnose the noise over the phone. Later, the room was flooded. @MGMResortsIntl
I called again, obviously irritated, and explained that I had already reported the issue. The employee told me she was going to hang up on me. I asked, “You’re going to hang up on me after my room flooded and I already called about it?” She hung up.
@MBonvoyAssist Shoutout to @MBonvoyAssist for stepping in and making things right — appreciate the quick support 🙌
Disappointed with my stay at W Florence. Multiple key amenities closed, construction ongoing, no resolution from hotel. Platinum Elite & paid with points. Please assist. #MarriottBonvoy @MBonvoyAssist
@MBonvoyAssist Thanks for the quick response — will DM you the details now.

So correct me if I’m wrong but under @NYGovCuomo, New York has an unemployment rate at 16 % (compared with 8.4% nationwide), biggest crime spike in history, highest Covid death toll, all time record for residents moving outta here. Pretty much the worst governor in history.
@ericweinstein You're the fucking man. True leadership. You got a new fan sir

Any defunding of law enforcement must start at the top. Any mayor or governor that supports defunding police should lose their security detail. As Austin reshapes police, will Mayor Adler's security detail be a casualty? statesman.com/news/20200902/…

This proposal for the state to takeover the Austin Police Department is one strategy I'm looking at. We can't let Austin's defunding & disrespect for law enforcement to endanger the public & invite chaos like in Portland and Seattle. #BackTheBlue reformaustin.org/public-safety/…

Actually, all the real research says otherwise. Early childhood aggression, for example, is mostly innate and then socialized into civil behavior.
@APA_Monitor @jordanbpeterson out of sincere curiosity, is there any research that says otherwise?
