@Payson_bg nothing i use is proprietary. At the bottom i usually have the difference between a 3 and 10 simple moving average with 16 smoothing and sometimes I overlay a 2 period ROC on top of it.

the majority of the time you can trade from either side if you are patient and wait for your spot. Only need 1-2 clean spots a day. Stalk first. Bull could have scalped long and bear could have waited for sell div. Work just one side, dont try and flip back and forth.

If you ever find yourself overtrading and getting chopped up, very likely it is on a "non trend" day like today: narrow range with pronounced value area (yellow line). Take heart because the next trading day is very often a trend day or exceptional trading day.
