This month, watching Grok Bot - Instinct - Muse - it’s exciting to see the world getting ready for personal AI.
I believe in an intent model - an AI that learns you, predicts your next steps and researches possibilities you haven’t even thought of. It keeps working on your goals 24x7 - even when you’re not there.
That’s what we’re building with @vebrowser - a model of you.
Available in your Email - WhatsApp - Slack - a call or iMessage. Wherever you are - it’s there. With its own email ID - working with your team and colleagues.
But for real work - I’m betting on more than a cloud browser.
@vebrowser operates your real browser on your device - with your accounts and context. You see its work - steer it - take over any time and hand it back. The work continues.
When an AI can be anything - better to build the most loyal one that can make us win!
We built a true multiplexer runtime from the ground up...
I don’t think we’ve even scratched the surface of what this means yet.
Imagine your AI can spin up multiple tasks at the same time, some running locally, some elsewhere, and dynamically decide where your machine’s compute and attention should go based on what actually matters right now.
One task needs more thinking. Give it more.
Another is just waiting on something. Don’t waste compute on it.
Something becomes urgent. Shift resources there.
Almost like how we work.
Except now your AI can actually do many of these things in parallel.
Browser capability is one part of Ve Browser
We call it a browser because that’s a mental model everyone already understands.
But underneath, what we’ve built can go much, much further than a browser.
And that’s the point.
I don’t think people should have to learn some completely new interface just because AI suddenly became exponentially more capable.
The interface can feel familiar.
What happens underneath it doesn’t have to be.
First version of the intent model; we just couldn’t afford to let more people try the free trial.
One of the things I really want to nail this time is making @vebrowser forever free.
We are building one-of-a-kind intent/memory/runtime, but intelligence is something you can
The browser is one of the most underbuilt AI tools!
60% of all computer work happens in a browser - it’s the one system that naturally knows all your intent.
Most browsers use your intent to sell you ads.
We are about to flip that.
Ve will show the power of your intent by being loyal to you.
So damn excited for what’s possible when an intent model lives in a browser.
For most of the world, the browser is Chrome and Safari - mostly just for navigation.
But China is a good indicator of what’s possible with an AI browser.
Alibaba’s Quark has 200M+ monthly users.
Tencent’s QQ Browser has close to 400M.
Almost 600M users between them - and both are increasingly becoming AI surfaces, not just browsers.
Would love to hear what you would want your browser to do for you.
𝗩𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸.
Plus, Ve Browser is now SOC 2 certified.
The last two months have probably been the most intense building period for me.
I personally wrote close to 90% of our production code. More than 1,000 commits in the

Intent exists before language.
We got this right, and we launched a cursor that predicts your next message.
Over the last six months, working with some of the biggest AI companies, we learned two things:
We should own the surface.
And we should earn the trust.
This realization led to the most ambitious product I have ever built.
The browser itself.
Not just a browser, but a browser that tops every benchmark and runs fully locally. Nothing leaves the machine.
Fully private, with state-of-the-art memory that you can use and share across all your other AI tools and agents.
I can go on and on. But you’ll have to wait until early next week for us to share more - and for you all to try it.
We’ve been working with just a couple of the best AI companies, and the response has been unlike anything we have ever received.
See you soon for the next phase of this journey :)

I don't think anyone can properly explain San Francisco.
On Monday, you'll overhear someone explaining why they quit their job to build a database company.
On Tuesday, your barista casually mentions they're working on a startup.
By Wednesday, you've somehow ended up at dinner with people you've only ever seen on Twitter.
And at some point, someone will ask, "So... what are you building?"
Not, "What do you do?", but "What are you building?"
It's a strangely optimistic place.
People get excited about ideas that barely exist yet. Someone will show you a prototype on their phone, everyone around the table will have an opinion, and by the end of the night, they've probably introduced you to two people who can help.
I'm sure there are plenty of reasons not to live in San Francisco.
But it's hard to beat living somewhere that makes building things feel normal!
I've always found it strange that the smartest technology we've ever built still asks people to do so much of the work.
You know what you're trying to achieve.
You know what you mean.
Yet too often, the challenge is figuring out how to explain it to a machine.
The more we thought about it, the more it felt like we were solving the wrong problem. The future of AI is about building systems that understand intent naturally, the way people understand each other.
That's the future we're working toward every day.
You deserved better, so we're building it.
The promise of AI was never that it would make humans think less.
The promise was that it would remove the unnecessary work standing between a thought and reality.
The forms.
The formatting.
The translation.
The repetition.
The future I'm excited about is one where humans spend more time imagining and less time explaining.
We are all using AI incorrectly.
When people say they are “using AI,” they typically mean this: they open a chat box, type in a question, and wait for a response.
Should I do this?
Should I build this?
Should I send this message?
Should I make this decision?
Then the AI responds. It provides a clear answer, sounding confident and intelligent. It presents the information in a structured format, complete with bullet points, reasoning, and pros and cons.
However, here's the problem:
That answer is not necessarily true. It is merely a simulation.
We are working to change that!
Being a founder in SF is a strange experience.
The person next to you at a café might be building a new AI model, launching satellites, curing a disease, or starting something that doesn’t even have a category yet.
The city isn't exciting because of the companies that already
Working in San Francisco feels like standing slightly in the future.
Here you meet fascinating people everywhere, absorb tech by osmosis, and leave every conversation a little smarter.
The best parts of being human are imagination, curiosity, ambition, and ideas.
Yet we spend hours organising, rephrasing, and translating instead of creating.
I've started to believe that this is one of the biggest problems AI should solve, and I've started working towards it.
There’s something different about working from San Francisco.
You can grab a coffee, open your laptop, and find yourself surrounded by people building things that could change entire industries. Conversations jump from AI to startups to products to ideas that don’t even have names yet.
The city's energy is undeniable. There’s an optimism here that makes ambitious ideas feel normal.
As a founder, that’s what excites me most.
Not the buildings, not the views, not even the history.
It’s being in a place where thousands of people wake up every day believing the future can be built and then spend their day trying to build it.
This resonates deeply.
The most durable moat may not be the model itself, but the intent behind it. Models improve, interfaces change, capabilities commoditize. What remains uniquely valuable is understanding what someone is actually trying to accomplish.
We're spending our days thinking about the same question: how do we help computers understand intent the way humans do?
Great question, great insight by our @vijayeesam and a reminder that the future belongs to those building around human intent. 😇
What’s the blind spot you're not seeing right now?
I was at @founders_cafe hosted by ‘The’ @ankurnagpal and got the chance to ask @immad, founder of @mercury, a question that's been on my mind for a while:
"As a founder building while AI gets more powerful every month, do you
