Pat, Make no mistake you did Utah dirty. But, putting that aside, I think you’re likely a good person, raising a family while dealing with the perils of ridiculous wealth and celebrity. You short circuited on Saturday and unfortunately made several innocent college kids famous for doing ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong. Imagine the shit they have to deal with because of this controversy. When the dust settles watch the video again and have an honest conversation with yourself. We are never too old to learn. It was a horrible look but everyone deserves a second chance so let’s move forward and get back to the games! In my opinion your behavior that day has more to do with previous experiences rather than Gameday in SLC. Peace always 🙏

I've always enjoyed Pat McAfee and found him to be highly entertaining. But lumping two college kids, who are obvious fans of his engaged in light-hearted banter, into the death threat category is just ridiculous and completely undermines his credibility and his point.

It’s been a fun October.. excited to get to Halloween. Here’s a couple fun screenshots from this month. I don’t know if Karey from Derry is real or not but, the picture on the left is from a very real man in Ohio. I’ve stayed away from my mentions and DM’s this month since

@PatMcAfeeShow None of this has anything to do with your completely unacceptable misinterpretation of the innocent Utah video You threw them under the bus for what happened to you in Tennessee? Shame on you Apologize and be a man

I’m sorry you go through messages like this on a daily basis. I’d imagine that’s very difficult to read. But all the kid said was he will say something corny. Not we think he’s a corny creep. Would go a long ways if you made things clear that the university of Utah did nothing wrong. And that it’s a complete misunderstanding.

We love @CollegeGameDay. We appreciate @ESPN and the many talented personalities who have helped make college football what it is today. We've enjoyed and cherished being invited to be part of the production, and we are forever grateful for being part of the best college football show in the nation. But let's get something straight. For @PatMcAfeeShow to allude to the tragic assassination of Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University while complaining about a few University of Utah students making harmless jokes about him is not just an overreaction. It's an outrageous false equivalency, deeply inappropriate, and frankly, an astonishing display of self-importance. Charlie Kirk's assassination was a GENIUNE American tragedy. It deserves respect and should never be invoked to suggest that college students poking fun at a television personality somehow represent a threat to his personal safety. Getting offended because a college kid said that he would say something corny, is not a security emergency, Pat. And to cast doubt on the University of Utah's ability to provide a safe environment because a few students bruised your ego is insulting to our university, our administration, our law enforcement professionals, our community, and the thousands of wonderful fans who welcomed College GameDay to Salt Lake City. All who have worked tirelessly to bring this show to Salt Lake City since 2004. Let's also remember something. Utah was winning football games, building a nationally respected program, and creating an incredible college football atmosphere long before Pat McAfee joined College GameDay. We appreciate the exposure, but our university, our football program, and our fans do not need the approval of one television personality to validate what we've built. We respect Pat's success. We respect his right to express his opinions. We simply expect the same courtesy for our students, our University, our staff and administration. And when your entire entertainment career is built around loud opinions, jokes, and making fun of others, perhaps being on the receiving end of a little harmless college humor shouldn't require a national television grievance session. "Thank you, guys. I’ll never see you again, hopefully.." - Pat McAfee Pat, you're welcome at Utah. But we don't need you to make Utah great. It already is. If you don't want to come back here, to our great university, city, and state, don't. We were fine before you, and we'll be fine long after you've faded into obscurity. Respectfully, and with only a minute amount of sarcasm, the Pig Bus crew. Go Utes!

Go Utes 😭 College gameday was great, #Utenation Sorry Pat about what we said, It was just a joke bro 😭

@CollinRugg Honor roll student? Then she is surely smart enough to know the consequences of her actions.

@StephSandberg This just happened to my daughter two weeks ago. They will just take you in the recorder’s office and look up your recommend. Take some ID and be prepared for it to take a minute. I think it was about 10 minutes for them to find the recorder and have him login and look it up.

Senators who have unlimited sick days and make $174,000 TAXPAYER dollars per year had the nerve to vote against giving rail workers 7 sick days.

We’re not even doing anything to the road. We’re just putting up cones because we hate you.

I LOVE this store! x.com/Redstoneolive?…

Pioneers did a lot of walking to get to a better life. All you have to do is get a shot! Easy, right? We can all tap into that pioneer spirit, no matter where we’re from. Get vaccinated for COVID-19 so we can do what’s best for our friends, family, and community.

@megnotmargaret This would be akin to torture for me! 🙉

These are the six US Senators who objected to the certification of our general election results:

Forget vaccines, science needs to find a way to revive Mister Rogers to save us all

All of a sudden, Mitch McConnell is "worried" about giving a $2,000 check to someone who "doesn't need it." That's funny. He had no problem giving a $560 million tax break to Sheldon Adelson who is worth $34.3 billion. Total hypocrisy! Let the Senate vote on $2,000 now, Mitch!

With gratitude, I celebrate 45 years of sobriety.

No Covid denying politician should get a vaccine before every Dr, nurse, hospital worker, EMT, cop, fire fighter, teacher, supermarket worker, pharmacy worker, food-chain worker, book store worker who has to deal with abusive no mask a-holes & many others @senatemajldr
