I have been comfort re-watching the #LOTR trilogy because it’s all been ~ a lot ~ lately and last night I dreamt I wrote a fantasy screenplay and my main characters were just called simply “The 3 Main C^n+s” I guess I better get on that.

I heard that restock videos are supposed to soothe anxiety, but I think I am doing it wrong

I drank a whisky sour for the first time in years and then yelled “Irish Wake! Make sure he’s dead!” so loud that it startled the cat out of a dead sleep. So, yes. This is exactly the dream my immigrant ancestors wanted for me.

@WellREDpodcast I was buying my tiny avocados for my Millennial Trope Avocado Toast at Trader Joe’s when I saw this outside the entrance. I assume you invested in this construction company?

@katheroony Our junior high would teach a crash-course in typing by taking a group of us out of our P.E. class for six-weeks and put us in a computer lab. I was ~here~ for it and actually developed some speed typing skills from it. Anything to get out of P.E. 🤣

@PaulCrenstorm The skating rink was our “go-to” birthday party location in my town. The song they played the most was the Ghost Busters theme song when they would turn off the lights and go ham with the disco ball. I fell once during the song and busted my chin, so that song literally haunts me

I love my job teaching theatre to others but sometimes, mama wants to do some theatre for herself and if that makes mama selfish well then oh god I just realized I have come full circle and become Mama Rose, oh God, oh God, oh God…

I really don’t like that my subconscious brain made up a lumberjack themed farce for me to star in last night.

@pattonoswalt I can’t get over that his font choices look like different snow cone flavors.

Couldn’t sleep so I went to the living room with a spoon full of Nutella and very clearly just interrupted my two cats in the midst of their own Jellicle Ball.

@tuckwoodstock I was one of those cisgender kids who had to take them as injections to delay puberty. No hoops to jump through, just the doctor recommended it and my parents agreed it was the best option for me, both physically and mentally. We can easily do the same for our trans kids.

@Colten_Hibbs I keep whispering “soon” as I pass by our nearest Waffle House! I get my first dose on Thursday!

I pitched a movie idea titled “Dog Messiah” to my husband tonight while I made quesadillas. But no, really... I’m handling this “lockdown year-two” thing just beautifully.

@baddestmamajama I think my high school did the same thing but it was with cans of Coke. Leaving us feeling unloved and un-caffeinated.

@sarahforsythe Ugh. It took a while for my dreams to catch up to the Covid timeline. But now, ALL of them are stressful “no masks in a group of strangers in a risky location” ones.

@Lurch_53 @KimmyMonte I have a similar one! The women who bake in my family all call it “goat slobber”. I’m honestly surprised they don’t call it “cat slobber” though, because they do all love cats. 😆

@DanielF10684035 @kaspakick @KimmyMonte My grandmother had an outhouse as a kid and she always describes it as “having the trots”! That makes so much sense, now!
