@AryaCanada @OttawaBylaw I don't know if you've seen them but there are a bunch of illegal "non party" STOP AYRA signs all around. I spotted them as I was driving down Prince of Wales. 4 at the intersection of Fallowfield alone. Not sure what org put them up. Just FYI.

@UberFacts Milli Vanilli played frequently at my middle school dances. Not ironically.

@CineplexMovies Just watched the amazing Shang-Chi, but unlike other movies we have attended recently the "distanced" seating had space next to us but people immediately in front AND behind us. This seems really pointless and ineffective. #isthisright? #huh

@RiverWardRiley @ottawacity Yep, I'm just worried that someone's going to have a really bad spill into one and actually do some damage. Being that they're right next to the path there's a good chance a bike wheel could go right in too.

@RiverWardRiley @ottawacity There are large holes in the ground next to the path in Owl Park. Numerous times I have told City Park workers when they have been here...to no avail. Others have fallen in, and today I fell prey to one, and may be off to the ER.

@RiverWardRiley @ottawacity The other hole I photographed is on the north side of the tennis courts towards the soccer field. As I said though, there's at least 5 good-sized holes left behind from the work done over a year ago. Requests to crews that have been around have gone nowhere.

@RiverWardRiley @ottawacity Honestly they're sort of everywhere along where they replaced the light poles. The holes are where the old poles were, they just never filled in a lot of the spots! The one I fell into is roughly 20ft along the path from "Art's Bench" towards the Mina entrance. 1/2

@RiverWardRiley @ottawacity Hey, quick follow-up. Escaped with badly bruised and sore foot. Ankle is sprained. These holes (there are several) are hazards that could badly injure a child or a senior, both groups who frequent Owl Park with high frequency. #help

@RiverWardRiley My guess is people getting vaccinated outside their municipality. This is % of eligible population. If people from outside the Ottawa area get counted (because they have moved since the numbers were done) then you can end up with stuff like 101%. #Statistics

@OttawaBylaw @OttawaPolice Solicitors on Bourbon St and Avocado St asking to come into homes to "inspect attic insulation". Very pushy. Illegal?

@ZenIIdeas Absolutely agree. The pandemic has been awful in so many ways but has paid some very special priceless dividends to those of us who have been privileged enough to weather it. #luckyones

@ottawacity Owl Park paths have large swaths of extremely icy pathways. Need sand! Or maybe even a plow to lift it? Near the rink.

@RiverWardRiley @OttawaBylaw The "no hockey" bylaw notices have been conveniently removed from the Owl Park rink leading to teenage boys once again obnoxiously taking over the rink without any regard for other skaters. Could they please get replaced? #help

@RiverWardRiley What would be helpful is some city enforcement wandering around. Toboggan hills, community rinks... They don't need to be By-law officers, those guys are too busy already. A city employee in a high-vis vest with any credentials would work well enough.

@TheDailyShow The first social media site to block Trump? @ravelry way back in 2017. The knit and crochet online mecca banned any discussion groups promoting Trump/MAGA and patterns that promoted/glorified their alt-right views. #aheadofthegame

@RiverWardRiley Maybe it's the same resident that drives the crazy winnebago with the LED signs that say the vaccine is going to "take over your DNA". Have you seen it? It's fairly disturbing.

@Make_It_Right Master bathroom renovation. The house was built in 1976. We replaced the toilet with an efficient one a few years back but everything else is original. We have a dream of cannibalizing a small closet that abuts the space to expand the room so we can have both a shower and a tub.

@IKEA @IKEACanada Your Ottawa snack bar has been in distress for a couple of weeks now. I was there a while back and they had half out of service. Now virtually all. No warning beforehand either. Leaves a person frustrated.

@WalmartCanada You're welcome. It may be from a third-party, but it looks like it's from you. There's more than just the one case. There's probably a hundred inflated price Lego kits on your .ca site. I shudder to think of what I would find on the US site.

Hey @LEGO_Group Did you guys know that @WalmartCanada is selling some of your kits for ridiculous prices? They've even got some of your "free with purchase" items up for sale. I'm a Lego VIP so it's not my usual shop, but I was looking for a 42113 (hope against hope right?)
