@AlsoACarpenter Could you explain your reasoning? I really can’t make any sense of what you’re claiming.

@richbarcellos False. The Son of God eternally ‘possesses’ that which pertains to the divine nature, and that he does immutably so. The Son can’t be omniscient and non-omniscient per the divine nature, unless that nature is mutable, which it isn’t, so the answer is ‘false’.

@richbarcellos If the being of God is independent, and if the persons of God are independent, then the persons must be of the very same essence as the being of God because the three persons of God are identified as the one God. If not the same thing, we’d have several independents - many Gods.

@MdtShell @JosiahHawthorne @reachjulieroys @Protestia @GideonKnox2 …of the accusations lest we be guilty of gossip.” “we are unable to determine their truth with certainty” ‘Unable to determine their truth with certainty’, that sure sounds like it’s not established as a fact, no? Do you think otherwise? 2/2

@MdtShell @JosiahHawthorne @reachjulieroys @Protestia @GideonKnox2 “While the church’s decision to accept JD’s resignation from pastoral ministry leaves us no choice but to consider the allegations against him to be credible, we are unable to determine their truth with certainty and therefore cannot speak to all of the specifics… 1/2

@geekyguyjay @JosiahHawthorne @reachjulieroys @Protestia @GideonKnox2 Is it a fact for sure? Due to the wording on Protestia’s own article, I was drawn to be ignorant of the actual nature of the reason of his departure. On what basis can Roys state that it was indeed due to “serious sin”? 4/4

@geekyguyjay @JosiahHawthorne @reachjulieroys @Protestia @GideonKnox2 I am aware of Hall’s particular reputation, yet the original tweet was with regard to sin which led to him disqualifying himself. The case very well may be that he committed a serious sin, but has that been established? 3/4

Ords 6:16 + 17b

@JosiahHawthorne @reachjulieroys @Protestia @GideonKnox2 You may be correct, sure. Yet that is not what I’m trying to get at. If the reason for JD Hall leaving the church is yet to be established, it is improper to state that he left due to ‘x’ (serious sin in this case).

@reachjulieroys @JosiahHawthorne @Protestia @GideonKnox2 “…specifics of the accusations lest we be guilty of gossip.” That’s why it seemed as if you jumped the gun. Is it established that the reason for leaving his ministry was due to *serious sin*, or isn’t it?

@reachjulieroys @JosiahHawthorne @Protestia @GideonKnox2 It is established then that JD Hall not only possibly, but in fact really resigned for serious sin? If he did, he did. What Protestia communicated was worded less definitely: “we are unable to determine their truth with certainty and therefore cannot speak to all of the… 1/2

@JosiahHawthorne @reachjulieroys @Protestia @GideonKnox2 My point is that Protestia received allegations, and that they currently are unable to determine the truth of the allegations, therefore, it can’t be said definitively that he resigned for ‘serious sin’; therefore, Roy’s jumped the gun.

@reachjulieroys @Protestia @GideonKnox2 …specifics of the accusations lest we be guilt of gossip.” Is the text in tweet appropriate considering to what Protestia themselves have communicated? You seem to have jumped the gun a bit.

@elonmusk This fine cheese can be found in Sweden. It is rich in flavor, fat, and simply precious.

@james_cule @gchwood @RM_Strong @matiyahu7777777 @DougInRoc @mbird12 but confronting bad hermeneutics (sort of demanding explicit texts that forbid an apparel, etc.), it might on be better to move on and not be bothered. But I do not understand the standard to be set in stone, and I’d probably agree with them on points, for sure. 3/3

@james_cule @gchwood @RM_Strong @matiyahu7777777 @DougInRoc @mbird12 I’d encourage you to let it be. When name calling begins, and there’s an unwillingness to acknowledge errors (claiming that I *lack a biblical standard for modesty when I simply haven’t developed my understanding of it due to it not being the focus of my argumentation) 2/3
