@JayMeW @StephenGrove19 @LeahFHardy @janemerrick23 I think you’re probably right. Everything is riding on the vaccine. Hopefully the NHS can hold out till it’s rolled out to the most vulnerable.

@JayMeW @StephenGrove19 @LeahFHardy @janemerrick23 Yeah I realise it’s not that simple. They can certainly review the criteria for what counts as a essential business and bin off click and collect for non essential. We’re going to be in ‘lockdown’ far longer than predicted if it stays like this.

@StephenGrove19 @LeahFHardy @janemerrick23 I agree Stephen but the government need to clamp down and actually enforce it now before it’s too late.

No surprise COVID is showing no signs of slowing down. Idiots not listening to the government advice. Just walked the dog at Bodenham lake (@Queenswood_CP) and people from all around travelling there. #staylocal #COVIDIOTS

**PARENTS** If you are happy with your child’s school, please tell them! While you’re at it, tag in @Ofstednews and tell them too! Schools don’t need enemies with a leader like @GavinWilliamson. They need that support right now!

@SkyNews @KateEMcCann No shit! He doesn’t react to anything that quickly. He’ll wait till the NHS is completely overwhelmed then lock us down.

@WatsonMartin @Alinwnderland @SkyNews They still spread it. Not saying children are at a high risk. They go home to family and give it to them. Staff in schools can catch it and take it to their families. It’s the bigger picture.

@Boston1960Lee @you_plonka @Alinwnderland @SkyNews I agree. If it’s safe for schools to be open then it’s safe for hospitality to be open as well.

@you_plonka @Alinwnderland @SkyNews I haven’t heard any teachers complaining. Unions yes but not teachers. They are getting on with it as far as I’m aware. I prefer to listen to SAGE over the PM when it comes to this. He hasn’t a clue and I’ve no doubt there will be a U-turn in a week or two on this.

@you_plonka @Alinwnderland @SkyNews I didn’t say kids are at a higher risk. They are at risk the same as anyone else. The new strain transmits easier, teachers and staff aren’t immune, they get no PPE, sit in a class with 30 different kids each lesson in secondary school yet there’s no risk to them?

@CelaenoHarpy @scarlethall772 @fe2093 @dioramick “People have their own rights” - Not if their rights come at a cost to others. Teachers aren’t immune from COVID and should have the right not to be exposed to it. You can catch up with education. You can’t bring people back from the dead.
