How can the very highest level of force be found to be justified in crown court, only to be dealt with via a gross misconduct hearing? What would the GM even be for? Am I missing something? I’m more confused than I am angry. What is going on, what am I missing?!

Rehashing legislation that already exists will help nothing. Bolstering resources needed to investigate, would help. Sadly, the opposite is set to happen. I look forward to the bashing police receive when spiking offences continue to rise.

There are drill tracks where they laugh at the violent death of a person, sometimes going as far as to insult/ goad the victim’s family members, including mothers. If that doesn’t show bad character, then I don’t know what does. I don’t care if they were the killer or not.

European riot police have shields, firearms, CS gas grenades, dogs, baton-guns, water cannon and long prison sentences. In GB we have a shield, a 50g tin of pepper (which we can't use in crowds) and a stick. We also have twitter and IOPC waiting to destroy us. Society gets etc.

I know this is satire but I always thought this hilarious account was pro-police, maybe even run by an officer. Shame to see a thinly veiled dig at IMMENSE coppering. High harm, weapon carrying offenders being apprehended and stopped from making £1000s is good for everyone.
