Rank Lab @RankLabHQ

@RoyalxStorm @SleeperNFL ?? Lost to a terrible 2-4 Texans team and still wants top 10 😭

@Steelersdepot PFT says 13th. Our model says 11th. Three 4-2 teams in the AFC North. Three very different spots. Records tie. Resumes don't.

@clayharbs82 ESPN's #5 Jaguars are 17th on our board. Lions? 15th. The math wasn't impressed by either.

🏈 The RankLab NFL board, 1 through 32. #1: 49ers (6-0), the league's only 6-0 team. The order blends our rating with results: every Week 6 winner sits above the team it beat. Which team is ranked too high? 👇

AP: LSU #18. RankLab: LSU #4. 14 spots. The biggest gap between our Top 25 and the AP. Two losses, both on the road, by 9 points combined. Then 31-0 over Mississippi State on Saturday. Kentucky fans: yes, 35-34. We still have LSU higher. Who's wrong, us or the AP? 🧪

@JPPlusCFB Same fight over here. Kentucky: 6-1, our #25 (+9.9 pts vs an average FBS team, 31st in efficiency). Texas: 4-2, our #10, #5 in efficiency, both losses by 3. Wins are the result. Efficiency is the signal.

@AlwaysTalkBall @NCAAFNation247 @CFBKings @CFBHome @CF_Budge @CFBChuckk @ByuSome @BarstoolBig12 @CollegeFBonX @nocontextcfb @BFWshow Counterpoint: Georgia got punished about right, maybe too much. Lost 27-24 to Auburn and are still #2 in our opponent-adjusted efficiency. AP has them 5. We have them 2. One 3-point loss is a result. The efficiency is the team.

@CSOonX Kentucky at 12 is the one that fails our test. Best wins in the country, sure. But they're 31st in opponent-adjusted efficiency. Our board: #25. The LSU team they beat 35-34? Our #4, rated 9.3 pts better. Winning by one isn't the same as being better.

@TomFornelli Forget 25. Our power rating has Oregon #15: +14.0 pts vs an average FBS team, 11th in opponent-adjusted efficiency. And the Boise State team AP slotted at #21? Lost at Oregon by 7. We have Boise #39. The Ducks aren't a bubble team. They're a snub.

AP has Kentucky at #12. We have them #25. 22 of our top 25 passed the test. Full breakdown on our page 🧪

Not a single team stayed put in this week’s AP Top 25. Miami is No. 1 for the first time since 2002 and BYU climbs to No. 2 after a historic weekend of upsets. See where your team landed: apnews.com/hub/ap-top-25-…
