Al's former employer went out of business at the end of February, and then failed to pay their insurance provider. His March and April COBRA coverage was canceled, leaving Al with no insurance coverage for his hospital stay or doctor's visits, despite us paying for it!

You CAN get disability coverage even with no diagnosis at all!  Social Security cares about how your symptoms prevent you from working much more than the diagnostic label. There is hope for my fellow FNDers and others with difficult-to-prove conditions. bit.ly/3UwkBi8

I participated in the MoRe program in Louisville, Kentucky in 2016. It was the single most effective treatment I’ve ever had for my FND and I’m so grateful that I was able to participate. Dr. Lafavor explains her program: youtube.com/watch?v=6xAu_A…

It’s wrong to not have masks in healthcare settings. The majority of people that go to hospitals or doctor’s offices are high risk and disabled people. We are the most vulnerable to COVID and any other virus for that matter. We’re there to get better, not worse!

What #psychological tools help you manage your health condition? I see a #psychologist practice meditation, have several self-hypnosis recordings, have taken a course in #MBSR (mindfulness-based stress reduction), and take #antidepressants (technically a #psychiatric solution)
