As part of yesterday's Sir David Amess summer adjournment debate, I took the opportunity pay tribute to local organisations that are part of the Poverty Action Network. These local organisations do amazing work in Motherwell and Wishaw and benefit the community immensely.

People are already under pressure financially with the cost of living crisis, and this will only add to the problem. The Scottish Gov should have put in place support for people before announcing this policy. Typical SNP and Green strategy- cart before the horse.
