FX as an asset class is a weird animal... The underlying currencies have no holding value (i.e., USD only worth is relative to other currencies) and are mostly used for the transmission of cashflows and yield differentials play. So FX vol is kinda 2nd ord deriv on that..

Cut through the noise. Core PCE is way above target and not much progress is being made: Last 6m: 4.6% 6m to 11/22: 4.6% 6m to 5/22: 5.0% 6m to 11/21: 4.8% 6m to 5/21: 5.1% Average Since 2021: 4.8% Last 6m: 4.6% JP saying not much progress being made simply reflects the data.
