Do people know about the extortionate FX fees their SIPP and ISA providers charge? They market low stock commissions and bury the massive FX charges in the small print.

There is no justification for a 1.5% fx fee in a world that can provide retail fx at near flat (Revolut et al). They sell themselves on low commision on the share transactions but hide the fx fees in the small print They are going to have to change or platforms like Trading 212 are going to eat them alive.
FX fees on @ii_couk Interactive Investor ISA trades are outrageous. 1.5% when you buy + when you sell, with no option for holding anything other than £. I mess around trading £5k or so per trade, so that’s £150 per trade for FX, £7.98 total to buy and sell. +£9.99 monthly fee.

@BisphamGreen @baanibaani4 @joeshortsqueeze They injected HK liquidity to the equivalent of 16bio usd which was sold at 7.75.. that was the exit of long usd trades. Lower HK rates suit them (helps the econ) so they won’t issue bills to absorb, closer to 7.85 and usd supply will come back + at 7.85 HK liq gets withdrawn
