@united I'm going to assume this is a chat bot, because I literally spent almost 40 mins on the phone with your customer service only to be told there were no options.

I don't come on this platform much anymore, but needed to vent about how incredibly frustrating @united is as an airline. Our flights were cancelled for our summer travel (after we had already paid for our accommodations months ago once we had confirmed our flights). (a thread..)

I recognize this is very first-world-problems of me. But damn, @united really couldn't even bother to help after I spent almost 40 minutes on the phone with them.

so now I need to find new flights for our family of 4 (two small kids in tow) that works within the dates for our accommodations (which is seeming a bit impossible right now), or figure out if we can move the dates for accommodations we've already paid for.

@AeromexicoUSA Also, this is not just an inconvenience. We have 2 small kids in a foreign country and no one is telling us how we can get home.

Hey @AeromexicoUSA, it would be great if you didn’t put my family of 4 (w/ 2 small kids) on standby @ the last minute because the flight was oversold but we had no warning until the flight is already boarding. The fact that we may not get home tonight is fucking infuriating.

And your phone agent tells us the gate agents will help us, but the gate agents are definitely not helping in any way. Cool, thanks for absolutely nothing @AeromexicoUSA.

And your agents won’t give us any sort of read on what next steps could be and haven’t made any announcements. With two small kids 5 and under.

Parenting is just repeating myself 800x /day. Including telling my kid she can't control other's behavior, only how she reacts to that behavior. Then when I ask her not to jump off the table, she reminds me that I can't control other's behavior, only my reaction to it. Cool.

"Mailboxes have gotten more crowded." Here's how the DTC brand @parachutehome is looking to stand out with ‘whimsical’ brand imagery as more brands diversify with direct mail. @kristinamonllos has the story. buff.ly/3ImAMoB
