Calling ADHD medication 'just another tool' is trivialising the side effects many people experience and proven long term risk of taking them. It doesn't meant they don't work. It doesn't mean they're not life changing for some. But call them what they are. Medication. Not a tool.

It is interesting to learn that many psychiatrists who treat children with ADHD report the kid’s parents are always late to appointments as well & show direct signs of ADHD. Raises the question if some of it is genetic. Too many variables to separate but interesting nonetheless.
