Found an old journal from the days of first learning guitar! 2 takeaways: 1) yes my inner nerd’s on full display 😆😆 2) I took the same approach with healing cancer Constant tinkering, experimentation, making mental notes and adjustments… One day at a time. It’s a marathon.

One of the hardest parts about fighting cancer is not letting “what is” today limit “what can be” tomorrow. You have to dig deep and do what it takes to keep yourself available for hope, inspiration and opportunity. So much easier said than done… Yet so critically important.

Whenever I’m struggling, whether it’s cancer related or just life… “Bad energy” (anxious, reactive, impatient) never brings good results. Bad energy just keeps me down. Regrouping and getting back to baseline allows my “good energy” to revive and lead the way 🙏❤️💪

Managing a cancer diagnosis is exhausting, and the grind can wear you down. Some days you may just not have much to give. It happens to us all. Account for it. Allow a little compassion, and bounce back as soon as you can. It’s a marathon.

5 escape hatches for when you need a break from cancer: 1. Watch live music on youtube 2. Gummy + a movie (I still love @ theaters) 3. Massage 4. Read fiction (get lost in some tasty prose) 5. Create- write, paint, play an instrument… Whatever helps you access a flow state!
