As a Head, I've led 5 Ofsted inspections. I never ever mentioned Ofsted to the staff team. I always said that if we are doing the right thing, don't worry because Ofsted will take care of itself. That is no longer the case - I have to prepare the team for Ofsted to protect them!
Perhaps we should be asking ourselves what 'standard' is being measured by SATs and whether that's a valid measure in the first place #SATs #MoreThanAScore theguardian.com/education/2023…
