A casual video game based on The 4-Hour Workweek! Never thought I'd see such a thing. Can play in 60 secs, and it looks like you can also use @SpacefastHQ to quickly create your own game from scratch. Thanks to @dlprager for the find.

Thanks to Internet Archive's Wayback Machine, my first attempt at a blog is forever preserved on the web. As with most first drafts, it’s embarrassing! Here is an archive snapshot from May 2006 of “Tim Ferriss: The Human Experiment.” The domain name will probably give you a

The OG @tferriss answered a question I submitted to him in a very thoughtful way, I asked about how the advice he gives in his books ages with time: youtu.be/SH5b_drlotY A really considered response, and you can see him referring to his notes, what a pro.

Friends - I'd like to do more unscripted podcast episodes, like The Random Show and live Q&As. Any ideas for what could be fun? What you'd like to see or listen to? Weird ideas welcome. Just reply to this tweet, and I’ll read them all. Thanks! 🙏

Where is the "AI Preppers" reality TV show or @netflix miniseries? "Alone" meets "Love on the Spectrum" meets "The Road." Montana Freemen versus Menlo Park Engineers? EMP-proof boxes? Funded in Argentina? It practically makes itself. People prep for a month with different budgets and/or handicaps and/or locations (pull from a hat), then they do a dry run for a month and see how they fare. Could pair up the odd couples for extra spice. Is anyone making this?

Has anyone else been yanked around by @DNAComplete? Sent them samples for a family member more than a year ago with payment. No results to date, just "Your results are being processed" When I emailed DNAComplete, their response was effectively "We never promised any timeline for results" (see pasted portion below). Something doesn't add up. Multiple follow ups have led to "You should have results in 6-8 weeks." That comes and goes, and I get another similar message. Customer service seems to have a playbook for this scenario, so it's hard to imagine I'm the only case. Anyone else had issues, or did I just pull the joker card? I mean, I've heard of companies getting into trouble for boosting revenue something like this: customers pay for premium product and wait, company books revenue, chargeback period expires or is pegged to "expected delivery date," company says there was *never* an expected delivery date, 99.9% of customers dealing with non-delivery of product give up. Here's an excerpt from their first email response: "Thank you for following up with the DNA Complete support team. We understand your concerns and recognize that the extended processing time can be difficult, and we appreciate your continued patience. As a reminder, DNA Complete does not guarantee turnaround times for sequencing and reporting due to the variables involved in laboratory processing." I ran through their checkout process again and couldn't find any mention of "does not guarantee turnaround times." Maybe it's fine print. If they change the website after this tweet, look at Wayback Machine. Lab processing? More than a year? C'mon, now. I've worked with labs over decades, and I call BS. Even if you're running the sample now, is it even intact 12+ months later? Best case, my guess is that they lost track of the sample or lost it entirely. Worst case? Who knows, but I'm not buying the lab processing and repeated brush offs. It's very rare that I post stuff like this, but the vast majority of people would have no recourse if caught in this situation. So I wanted to see if it's a wider problem the company needs to address. Maybe it can save other people headaches and money.

Someone on my team found these, so it would seem like I am not alone: Notable similar posts: • Alec Thomas (@alecctric): Submitted a sample 4 months prior with no results. As a scientist familiar with NGS timelines, he called it potential fraud and tagged the company. X (x.com/alecctric/stat…) • MadDava (@Mad_Raskolnikov): “Courtesy warning: @DNAComplete is a complete scam. It’s been 9 months and I haven’t heard anything. I emailed them and got a garbage response about processing times. Avoid at all costs.”X (x.com/Mad_Raskolniko…) • William Rea (@WilliamJRea): Paid ~$2,000 NZD for the Elite 100x WGS test, nearly a year after sending the sample with no results (referenced Nebula Genomics / DNA Complete).X (x.com/WilliamJRea/st…) • Abud Bakri MD (@AbudBakri): Warned against DNA Complete / Nebula Genomics for full genome sequencing. “They are a shit show. Take your DNA sample and don’t give results a year later. When emailed ‘still in que’. Happened to many of our patients. Stay away.”X (x.com/AbudBakri/stat…) • Anastasia Romanova (@romanasta): “Don’t buy their services, they’re scammers! We bought two kits and have been waiting for results for over a year, and their support team is evasive and unresponsive.”X (x.com/romanasta/stat…) • bitn8 (@qubitn8): “Complete scam. The company is still taking payments yet they’ve shut down their lab over a year ago. I’ve yet to see my results a year later. No way to get in contact or get a refund.” (Tagged @DNAComplete and others.)X (x.com/qubitn8/status…) • Coyote (@CoyoteProjects): Ongoing updates about not receiving results or timelines; advised using any other company and noted many cases of people “waited for years for results.”X (x.com/CoyoteProjects…) • Sriram Eleswarapu (@eleswarapu) and others: Kit completed months earlier with no results and unhelpful support; some explicitly labeled the service a scam or advised against purchasing.X (x.com/eleswarapu/sta…)

@SynBio1 @draparente @TheODINInc Nice. DNA Complete / Nebula Genomics is absurd. Kit complete on Feb 9 and no results still. Support team unhelpful. Will look elsewhere...
