@PunkyCovfefe @rohindhar The bigger house is in one of the richest neighborhoods in Houston, right near a major city center. The other one is a lot farther out (suburbs in all but name) in a frumpy part of town.

Around 18 months you’ll get more “oh man this song is fun because it’s about a truck or whatever” and it’s fun to see your kids engage with that, but if they like other music too already you can just seamlessly make that part of the musical spread.
My hottest parenting take is that you absolutely don’t have to play kids music to kids before, like, 18 months. Babies just want simple harmonies and beats, they LOVE disco and punk, you can wait till they find out about cocomelon at school before you torture yourself.
Essential pre course ritual. Search google for ‘Coffee near me’. Even though some coffee die hard snobs will cry that I’m not chewing the raw arabica bean straight from the plant, cappuccino will do me.
