A coach’s energy quietly sets the tone. It’s not about being loud or overly enthusiastic. It’s about an intentional presence—How they enter the room, how steady they remain when things get chaotic, the sense of purpose in how they move. Positive energy doesn’t mean pretending everything’s okay. It means being grounded, focused, and consistent. It’s belief, even when belief is hard to come by. When the team’s energy dips, they get their cue on how to carry themselves from the coach. That’s part of the role. Over time, that energy becomes part of the culture.
