@DennyTWright @MartinSLewis Basic tax and things like compound interest is already taught in state secondary schools - part of the PSHE programme.

@TLanokia @StigAbell Agreed - my daughter loved English until she started GCSEs and would have been an A level candidate. It knocked all the joy and creativity out of it, so now considering maths etc.

@normal_danny @parkrun @runbadders @andybutchart91 At first timers brief I often say reassuringly “don’t worry, you’ll be able to follow everyone else”. Oh…

@HereforTruth43 @walledcountry @martinbright 65% of young people voted (2/3 of those eligible) - as opposed to 74% for 55 and over. 16 and 17 year olds then got no vote, so nobody under 24 now. University cities like Oxford/Cambridge much higher turnout than that. Not clear cut.

@sexandtheswiss @mattwardman My 13 year old daughter uses my e-bike - she’s bugger than me, has been cycling for ages inc. school every day. She uses ebike when she has loads of bags as it has rear and front panniers, unlike her normal bike. It’s speed restricted, never considered it an issue? UK based.

@normal_danny I guess when it’s difficult to fill volly rosters at the best of times, it make sense to cut non essential roles? It’s quite a different event now from how it started.

@IainBancarz @SeagullsAhoy @SoVeryBritish Bury St Edmunds is having an identity crisis about whether it is a town or a city because of its cathedral. And glaring at strangers.
