@TMFScottP In my experience of non-finance types it was Bitcoin that has introduced them to the realization that our money isn't sound. Only need to spend 5 minutes researching crypto to understand the broad macro story and from there they learn to extrapolate to other asset classes.

@katherine_deves I would say we've already on balance forgotten. Anyone under 30 never knew. A significant portion of the 30 to 40 cohort weren't born here. And the 50 plus group think everything is tracking just fine.

@camerondickqld Giving away "free money" is the reason why people need "cost of living relief" in the first place. You must know this, which means you are being wilfully deceptive towards citizens who don't understand it. A real leader would acknowledge the cause and fix it.

@tax_oz @_noomrise @nonestlex I agree with you there but the gist of the original complaint was that the wealthy, who generally own businesses, through falsely perceived loop holes or not, stand to be less affected by increasingly high rates of taxation enforced on the populace (at least for now!)
