All the market seems to be aware that TW insurance companies are over exposed to FX risks (asset in USD, debt in TWD). USD is inevitably weakening vs most currencies (except for RMB). So it’s good trend for companies that have domestic assets (and USD debt such as real estate)

When talking about the ongoing tariff wars, most people argue either China or US is winning. But the FX market has provided some hints: Yuan and US dollar have been on par with their past levels but they’ve been deprecated against a lot of other currencies. Neither is winning.

半导体冲高回落，基本上反制题材结束了。从农业稀土炒到半导体，后面没啥可炒了，对内只能赌一下内需政策，对外还是得看看哪些能和合作的。毕竟反制本身并不赚钱，还是需要增量啊

Not big on China semi. It’s been subsidized and promoted long already. Not much change marginally. What could really change are between China-EU, China-SEA, and China-EA. SEA is probably the most likely because they desperately need help.

While the situation getting more chaotic, non-US/China currencies are almost all appreciating (more US than China). If weaker dollar is all Trump wants, then he’s getting it. At the same time, stocks were all time high and are plumbing. Do we know if bonds are holding up?

涨价和通胀相对慢的变量，但chaos是即时生效的，类似于pandemic带来的lockdown。比如海运，目前到港的船舶货物需要清关，成本问题可能谈不拢，货物可能堆积在码头，那么其他船就进不来，整体的国际海运陷入混乱。

I truly feel for Native Americans (I mean for five of those who are still alive). They've got fucked up beyond all recognition. They should reclaim their land back. Anyone whose ancestors were killers should probably kill themselves right away.
