@pinkgreyblu Always fun to see that polls are right if reform are leading and biased if they aren't.

@donmcgowan Oh im sorry, China and the 3rd world can keep burning oil and coal, but our small island should be held to ransom over net zero bullshit or the world ends. Grow up.

@AngelaKDunning @andyburnham Even if we opened every additional oil and gas field and reopened every possible coal mine, our emissions at this point would be still less than 10% of china's current emissions. This is about supply security, its not a full fix but its a start

@TerraOrBust Are you sure that Andy Burnham is sitting at his desk, drafting these changes, on his own and not doing any other, larger scale work?

@TerraOrBust So you do realise that the media is spinning everything into "Andy Burnham says" and there are many more people in government who are dealing with these kinds of things?

@RanTeeThree So you would rather only big issues, that take time to find solutions to are considered by the government? Small issues that affect general people are not worthy of government?

@MrMBrown Not profiteering off the population due to global events. Profits are one thing, excessive profits no. Especially after the country bailed out banks during the crash. Banks rinse the average person as much as they possibly can, unfair charges and over the top interest.

@anon_opin Bar workers should have the ability to tell people to fuck off when ordering stupid drinks at stupid times. Especially when ordering guinness last. Or ordering one drink, then when done, oh ill have another one of those.

@itsdbtalks When you factor in hospitalities ever increasing costs, from vat to staff to electric and more, £20 is a drop in the pond. Hard to get a decent meal from maccas for less than 15 quid.

@fionahtweet @TPensions Your NI also doesnt pay your pension. Yes it marks eligiblity, but if you paid no NI there is still a pension and pension credit. Oh id love to see Scotland survive on its own. You take more from the UK than you give. Wait for the crash that follows.

@fionahtweet @TPensions In that case you can pay for your own health care as well. There are many people who need the state pension, and many who do not need it, but take it "because I paid into it" your contributions pay other people's pensions. Not your own.

@NJM71 I hate that pensioners keep proclaiming that they have paid into the system all their lives. So have most of us, but more so. There is no pot with each persons pension contribution in it. Each generation is paying the pensioners of their times pensions.

@Mikey1732 Because pensioners only think of themselves. Many of those pensions you mention most likely have more disposable income than current working people and stamp their feet because "we paid into the system for years" theres no money pot with "Mike's pension" written on it.

@joshuaethan1 It feels more like the current generation of pensioners hate seeing something thats not fit for purpose adapted for the betterment of the country because "they paid into the system" purpose generation is paying much more and can see it needs changing

@Liambroady It also involves things such as the manager getting paid one wage by the club and another from the owner. To make the club's books look better. That's just one example
