@SaraAna66550269 Nurtec did nothing for me but Ubrelvy works pretty well. I also started Botox treatments and it is very helpful. Of course do that with the right person! I also take Aimovig injections once monthly. Super helpful. Highest dose.
There is a gray tabby here covered in bite wounds and scabs. All you have to do is keep your cat indoors to improve their lifespan and quality of life. Give them an enclosed catio to keep them safe from outdoor dangers.
New dentist examined me and there were ... NO CAVITIES. None at all. Someone I know had a similar experience; told they needed almost 7k of dental work. These people had a lot of $ - the lady went for 2nd opinion. Didn't need a damn thing. The 1st dentist knew they were rich.
No foreign body, but she has to go to the bathroom. Gonna do fluids and monitor.
Had plans today, but Iris decided she wanted to go to the ER. Stable and being triaged now.
We are home. The friends question is still undecided.
The ER is partnered with an ice cream place so you can get ice cream delivered while you wait.
Happy to see the mom cat I TNRed in 2018 is out and about. When they spayed her, they found and removed an abdominal mass, so I'm pretty sure I saved her life, but she still hates me. Photo from 2018.

So do any other disabled folk prepare for a medical appointment by writing a summary of their medical issues, a list of current medications, a summary and history of the problem they are going for, and answers to potential questions... or is it just me? 🙃

Emotions and PEM are double the cruelty. You have the distress of the emotions and the payback of the PEM. Trying not to feel “distress”, not to cry when something is important is further stripping of our humanity!

It's important to celebrate the wins with this illness, because there are so many losses. So....I ate this greasy, pepperoni-laden pizza the other day, WITH TOMATO SAUCE, and didn't crash or feel bad. Whether it's Ketotifen or just the changing season, something is helping. 😊

I signed the final documents to close my law practice today. #LongCovid has taken away from me everything that I worked hard for & was proud of. Although I am grateful to have the love of my family & a few good friends, today is not the day to be positive but a day to grieve. 1/

The flight attendant had a surgical mask and I offered her a KN94 as an upgrade which she was really happy to accept and loved the black color, her favorite. The guy across the aisle then asked, “can I get one too?” “Yeah, man you got it.” Community care is the future.
