Years ago I had an employee who I discovered was a raging alcoholic. I confronted him about it. His addiction was destroying his family and himself. He didn't care. I learned from that a painful lesson: You cannot care more for a person than they care for themselves.

You never know when disaster's going to strike. 2008, 2020... Plug any year in you want. If at all possible, live below your means. Establish the EF, as Yalonda talks about. It's tempting to splurge on something you want now, But you'll thank yourself later. Trust me.

Just wanted to say... Been without internet for the last seven days or so due to that storm. Best and worst thing that's ever happened to me. Changed my perspective, in a lot of ways. I will never take it for granted, ever again.

Honestly, my favorite "accomplishment" Has been helping and motivating others to work out. I've learned that it's not really about the body, (Though it sure doesn't hurt) But more the message you send FROM being fit.

The news kills. Doubt me? For one - all news has a political direction it appeals to. This kills your critical reasoning abilities. Second - negativity gets views, so it oft focuses on that. Your stress levels can literally rise from watching it. Again. The news kills.
