Incentives of media is very different from what we assume. Media incentive is number of eyes and that simply equates to "hype". If something is hyped, you're already too late. In terms of investing, you're the exit liquidity. In terms of social hierarchy, you're the normie.

Law of nature is beautiful in that energy is neither created nor destroyed, it's only transformed. Best thing we can do as humans is be nimble and transform when we need to. That's what makes us unique: when the world transforms, we adapt. No machine can replace that.

India's brain drain problem is 100% the government's fault, and 0% personalilty fault. In fact, most Indians are very family oriented and have love for their home. The government has given them NO incentive to stay and work or research for the country.

We're stepping into a world where unemployment will be at peak levels. Tarrifs, AI both worsen the case. Mass layoffs, new grads not getting hired, degrees losing credibility. This is the norm. Wealth will be more concentrated than ever. Survival of the fittest/most adaptable.

Snippet from CFA L3 says something along the lines of: Writing calls and puts on bonds, is similar to buying MBS, in that we are selling convexity in both! If you actually understand them, some concepts in the CFA are actually pretty insightful and worthwhile.
