Extensive damage in Elkhorn, NE west of Omaha from Friday's (likely) long-track #Tornado. There was a 34-minute lead time with the warning thanks to @NWSOmaha who issued 42 tornado warnings, the most in 5 years from a NWS office. We're live on @weatherchannel
I can’t be happy about the tornadoes I saw today. Way too many lives disrupted. We never did find this guy’s cat. Hopefully just hiding somewhere. Just heartbroken for all of the folks impacted today…

Still processing that @TimBacaWeather and I witnessed 12 tornadoes yesterday. This was the violent wedge that tracked through Minden, IA causing damage. Always worst case scenario to see tors in populated areas. Onward to OK today for what could be another historic outbreak.
April 27 is a date that is already traumatic for some people. While in a different part of the country, today we’re staring down the barrel of another significant tornado day, coming off the heels of a significant tornado outbreak yesterday. Try to be sensitive of that.

I can’t be happy about the tornadoes I saw today. Way too many lives disrupted. We never did find this guy’s cat. Hopefully just hiding somewhere. Just heartbroken for all of the folks impacted today…
@brendonme IDK but this was definitely a tornadic circulation that tried to get going and failed.
