For me a good way to learn a programming language is to write a syntax highlighter for it. So I did that for GDScript, mimicking what the #GodotEngine editor does. My upcoming #godot4 tutorials will make use of it.

🔊 Audio reactive unity scene using ideas from the @GabrielAguiarFX curvy paths tutorial. Procedural meshes following torus knot parametric curves with simplex noise. Thanks to @catlikecoding for the tips on using burst code, it's running at 300 fps on an M3 Pro mac. Soon in VR.

I had following @catlikecoding's movement tutorial, but with Godot (ft. Jolt Physics) Note that his tutorial covers 3D move in Unity that are easy enough for beginners to follow. I recommend it, cuz very simple yet natural in engineering perspective imo. catlikecoding.com/unity/tutorial…

I added a 12-vertex icosahedron to @catlikecoding's lerping functions from their Unity Basics tutorial. Thought it looked neat.
Continued a bit with my shadow challenge and decided to add cute friendly shadow tentacles ! I wrote a cheating IK with bezier curves and I am really happy with the result so far 😄 Thanks a lot @FreyaHolmer and @catlikecoding for their tutorials 👋 Blog post soon 👀
Decided to reactivate my patreon account and support @catlikecoding and @SebastianLague with what little I can while I'm a student. Their work is really inspiring and helpful and I'll be sure to increase my pledge to creators like them once the student debuff has worn off haha.
