Something I’ve been working to incorporate lately that has had a positive impact: morning roadwork 30-60 minutes walking outside. There health benefits, but the real value has come from how it’s helps set the frame of my day. Highly recommend.

You don't need the "best" training method. Exercise should be fun. The reason it's not is because everyone is doing what they think they "should" do instead of what they * want * to do. Find the activity you enjoy and do it consistently.
A balance of intensity and rest is key to sustainable growth.

You shouldn't be training high volume conventional deadlifts. It's asking for trouble. Trap bar deadlifts are very effective replacements and reduce a lot of risk. I still lift conventional but not for volume. I add volume through RDLs and Trap Bar.

I think athletes from other team sports could really connect/identify with moments like this. Some become "possessed" or become a "different person" in these "hero" moments. You find out what you're [actually] made of, when others are on the line.
@Predamame Love the ‘hero’ aspect that relays bring. When your performance benefits more than just yourself, it becomes heroic. And you can be lifted off the track on your teammates shoulders! It’s a compounding phenomenon. Fans become an extension of the team.
