I think one of the misconceptions about #MECFS is that resting makes you feel well. It doesn’t.
No matter how long I rested, the debilitating fatigue, the flu-like symptoms etc would still be there. I still wouldn’t be able to go out.
What resting does, is stop me feeling worse
masks help protect people and they’re really not difficult to wear while you’re in public places. please don’t stop wearing them just because boris says it’s fine. it’s not fine, and you know that really, and so do all of the disabled people being put at risk to save boris’ skin.
