@bigfatsurprise I won't give them one penny since they told me in the year 2000 when I was diagnosed at age 40 to not pay any attention to the glycemic index & eat 45g carbs or less at all meals and 2 snacks a day. Dang near killed me. I got over their nonsense. 380lbs to 212 today!

@bigfatsurprise What pisses me off is we are not educating our YOUTH & it is in youth when sugar AND carb addiction & junk addiction starts. By the time they get past all the food funded BS studies LITERALLY telling them to eat grains, graze all day, all the fruit they want, etc. they’re hooked.
@shelly_187 Another big discouragement I’ve noticed are hard core EXTREMIST. Someone will post a meal a thousand times better than what they used to eat & get literally bashed by the “my way or the highway” gang & the “I’m right damn you” gang. I tell them to take what helps & ignore them.

@BiggestComeback @JYKines Totally agree Chris. One of our cyclists group leaders asked me why I maintained or lost weight with our twice weekly rides of 30-60 miles & he rides the same & gains weight. I compassionately told him, I do not conclude my ride with a pitcher of beer & an entire pizza.
Anxiety about food can possibly be detrimental. Psalm 46:10 “Be still and know that I am God” Does that mean I don’t plan for food, think about good choices or learn? Of course not, it just means I trust in God and am grateful for the day.
Yesterday I had food and I was grateful. Today it looks as though I will have food yet again and I will stop and be as grateful as I can, maybe I’ll have an opportunity to share. This before all thoughts of macronutrient choices. Blessings on your day.
@BiggestComeback Do it at home or nearby, EVEN if done in smaller amounts, IF you are NOT going to the gym for whatever reason especially if you have to drive there. My wife and I can walk or bike right in our neighborhood or use our treadmill & resistance bands at home. Hard 4 downtowners 4 sure

I don’t know what to think about Dr. Gundry and his ketone uncoupling. His videos take forever and seem to always end with one of his supplements. I did read his Unlocking the Keto Code and while interesting I’m still doubtful. Thoughts @garytaubes or @bigfatsurprise ? Others?
