When you’re considering skipping a workout because you don’t have time to do a full session, remember that compromising (fewer exercises or sets or less rest in between sets) always beats surrendering. Great workouts aren't always the ones you asked for.
There's a lot of talk about the importance of viewing morning sunlight, but viewing afternoon and evening sunlight is also beneficial to the circadian rhythm. Yet another reason to try to get outside at least a few times per day (once in the morning, afternoon, and evening).
Results matter more than intentions. If all that matters are our intentions, we don’t have much of a reason to make ourselves better at doing good.

Every day is not a new day. Over time, our lives take shape like a sculpture, carved by our habits and routines, one strike of the chisel at a time. Thus, where we are is far less important than where we’re going.
"2,000 steps (~30 min of walking) every 2-to-3 hours" is a more useful prescription for maintaining metabolic health than "10,000 steps every day."

My favorite use case for intermittent fasting is when I'll be going out for dinner and want to eat at least 1,000 calories. When that's the case, I skip breakfast, eat at least 100 grams of protein (and little else) by dinner, and then enjoy the final meal.

@muscleforlife I remember thinking about how long it’d been since I could do my favourite activities. Also heard a podcast where a woman who’d turned 60 talkedabout having a limited amount of active living left, as she aged. Two years later, 96 lbs lighter, more active = happier.
