Some days you'll get one song, and some days you'll get five. And the moral to that story is, all that matters is you keep doing it.

My very special baby Charlotte, helping me relax after work. This sweet girl licks and bumps my face throughout the night, while sleeping right next to me, draped over my head.

This is Jake. He has had no special training, but knows when his elderly owner has hypoglycemia during the night, and wakes him up to get some juice. Jake does his best to keep my patient’s blood sugar steady. Love.

I know I have been “impeded” by faster runners in many a road race. Sure didn’t whine and ask for instant replay #MaximumSecurity

It looks to me that Maximum Security won. Period. Not hating on Country House, but you were “impeded” by a faster horse and savvier jockey. I sincerely hope all Derby horses get well deserved sunshine and green pastures for the rest of their days.

Our intelligence helps us regulate our emotions. Fear, for example, is based on mistrust and a lack of self-confidence. If, on the other hand, we remain honest and truthful, open and tolerant, we will have greater self-confidence and overcome fear.
